Promat 2025 Recap: Key Insights from Russell Conveyor & Equipment’s Experience

Promat 2025 was a great opportunity for Russell Conveyor & Equipment to showcase our products, connect with existing customers, and explore new technology trends. Our team had an exciting and insightful time at the event, learning more about the industry and gaining valuable feedback from attendees. Here’s a recap of what we experienced and learned at the show.

Networking and Industry Engagement

For our team, Promat 2025 was all about connecting with industry peers, customers, and suppliers. Houston shared how rewarding it was to meet people he’s worked with for years and see the material handling industry continue to grow each year. Networking is always a big part of these trade shows, and Promat was no exception. We had quality conversations and made new connections, some of which we’re excited to explore further.

Trina emphasized the value of meeting both customers and suppliers. By getting to know our customers’ needs and understanding what suppliers can offer, she was able to gain insights into how we can better serve our clients. This exchange of ideas is invaluable for us as we continue to grow and adapt in the ever-changing material handling industry.

Booth Engagement

Our booth was a focal point, and we were pleased to see how engaged the visitors were. While traffic may have been slightly lower than in previous years, the connections we made were strong and meaningful. Houston noted that many visitors were particularly interested in our stainless steel conveyor, our Washdown MDR systems, and our spiral conveyors. These products sparked several in-depth conversations, helping us gain valuable insights into our customers’ needs.

Industry Trends

Promat 2025 was filled with exciting innovations and trends. The most prominent theme at the show was robotics and AI. Jordan noticed that nearly every booth showcased some form of AI-driven solutions, highlighting the growing influence of automation in the material handling industry. While these technologies are fascinating, Jordan suggested that Russell Conveyor & Equipment should continue to excel at what we already do best before diving into new tech.

Houston also remarked on the overwhelming presence of robotics at the show. The focus on automated solutions was certainly hard to miss, but it’s clear that Russell Conveyor & Equipment will continue to focus on our strengths while keeping an eye on emerging technologies.

Standout Moments

There were several memorable moments for the team. One highlight for Jordan was meeting an engineer who had already completed their homework before visiting our booth. The engineer brought detailed specs, drawings, and layouts, making the conversation much more productive and efficient. It’s always exciting to meet visitors who are prepared and have a clear vision of their project needs.

For Trina, connecting with suppliers and learning about new products was a key takeaway. She discovered offerings that she wasn’t previously aware of, which could help us expand our capabilities moving forward.

Key Takeaways

Overall, Promat 2025 was an excellent event for Russell Conveyor & Equipment. We came away with new insights into customer needs, supplier capabilities, and industry trends. We also learned valuable lessons about booth design and engagement. Some key takeaways include:

  • Effective Booth Design: A more inviting booth layout could help drive deeper engagement. Showcasing what we do best—such as spiral conveyors, custom designs, and transfers—would help attract visitors.

  • Importance of Preparation: Having a clear list of goals and knowing the specific needs of attendees will help us make the most of future shows.

  • Continued Focus on Strengths: While robotics and AI are exciting, Russell Conveyor & Equipment should stay focused on perfecting what we do best while exploring new tech at the right time.

Finally, our team had a fantastic time bonding and learning from each other. We’re already looking forward to Modex 2026 and beyond, where we can take these lessons and build on them for even greater success.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and engaged with us. We look forward to continuing the conversations and building lasting relationships!

Stay tuned for more updates from Russell Conveyor & Equipment!
